Tuesday morning Over- powering distress Was it really happening? Enormous clouds of smoke Raining debris where there should be sky Screaming people fill the streets
Through all the panic, someone looked up “Where are You?” But You had already made your promise So we held on Though the earth trembled And the sky turned to black
As the dust settled A new feeling rose up Freedom continues And hope will go on
